What a great opportunity we have as Christians to walk in God’s power and strength. What an ascent of man it truly is to minister to humanity above the levels and depths of the human condition. Many believers are stuck in Christianity without power. God never intended this to be so. God intended us to act like, walk like, and be like our template for Christianity, Jesus! Love, holiness and the miraculous realm are in our very natures as believers and followers of Jesus Christ. Some might say, “well, Greg, now you know we can’t do miracles because we are only human.” I guess I agree with that. A human cannot do miracles. Anyone claiming they can apart from God is really off. But God does miracles all the time. And He uses people to do them all the time. In fact, God rarely does anything on this Earth apart from people. People pray things through.

If you believe in prayer and the power of prayer at all, then you believe in God’s power through the believer. For prayer is an activity of the believer. Prayer is a way to contact God on the behalf of one’s self or others to move the natural order of things. Prayer is part of the miraculous realm. Any person engaging in prayer is engaging in a very supernatural activity. I am tired of Christianity without the supernatural power of God. Christianity is the only system of beliefs that truly has the access to the supernatural. Buddhists cannot tap the power of Heaven. Neither can Islam. New Age practitioners deal with the forces of darkness. There certainly is a dark supernatural, but God has said that we are to have nothing to do with it. Christianity and the followers of Jesus Christ alone have the Heavenly access to God’s ear and His favor, and His supernatural power.

Christians do the will of God and employ the armies of Heaven under the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit. God's Holy Spirit is the person and the way by which Christians wield God’s power. Jesus said it would be so, God ordained it, and if Christians are open to God’s Holy Spirit, then the power of Heaven is open and available. I do not expect you to believe me in this matter. Believe Jesus, the Founder of Christianity. Here are His words:

“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the Earth.” Acts 1:8

Jesus was speaking to His disciples. But it was more than His disciples, because when it happened on the day of Pentecost, there were 120 present. (Acts 1:15) There were 120 disciples. God did not give the Holy Spirit to 12 apostles alone, as many teachers and denominations teach. He gave the Spirit to 120 disciples. Why 120? That is simply how many they had at that time. I do believe the number 120 is symbolic, but that's another teaching. If they had had 400, that is how many God would have given the Holy Spirit to. After a few days, the Holy Spirit came upon over 5000 individuals.

The power of God comes on a person when the Holy Spirit comes on the person. Reread the scripture just above. I didn’t say it. Jesus did. The Holy Spirit and the power of God are available to anyone in the ranks as a disciple of Jesus. I didn’t say it, God said it, for it is recorded in the Bible as what actually happened.

Now, watch this. As far as I know, most of the original 12 apostles never left Israel. But Jesus said they would be witnesses to the ends of the Earth. Who then would be the witnesses? You and I! But, it is God’s wise plan that we not be witnesses without the power of the Holy Spirit, and that we not go forth until the Holy Spirit comes upon us. Isn’t that simple? You need help to misunderstand this. But there is much help, for many teach against this truth, as simple and sound as it is. In fact, I guarantee to you, that this writing has made some on this mailing list mad. Why? Sometimes Divine truth cuts across some people’s mystical view of God and Jesus and the Apostles. There is a view to have that is scriptural, and that is what I want you to have. Some people do not want their beliefs messed with. Some have their beliefs neatly organized in their minds, and then someone like me comes along and turns over the applecart. A wise teacher once said, “I like to make people mad or glad, but I never leave them the way I found them.” Another wise teacher said this once: “God’s Word never offended thinking that was already right.”

This is really common sense. But I believe the Bible teaches us the following principles.

You must live righteously. If you are always fall down drunk, not a soul will want your brand of religion. "Be Holy for I am Holy."

You must live victoriously. If you are always behind the eight ball, on your last leg, suffering, impoverished, sickly, full of addictions, and complaining, you will not win many souls. God wants you to win all your battles. God wants His children winners. If your Earthly father or mother wants you to win, how much more would your Heavenly Father want you to win in life, in every minute detail. "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

You must possess the Love of God. If you are hateful, immature, vengeful, spiteful, full of gossip, and unforgiving, then you will not win people either. "Beloved, let us love one another. For love is of God..."

You must know God’s Word and be skilled in doctrines. If the false religions or the skeptics can get the upper hand with you, and know their anti-Christ dogma more than you know your Christian theology, then you will not be successful as a witness for Christ. This is one reason I produce the White Fields Ezine, so you can be a knowledgeable witness. "Study to show thyself approved unto God.."

You must possess the peace of Jesus and walk in true Bible faith. There is an old poem, for which I will take literary license. “If you can keep your head when all around you are losing theirs, you will be a man or woman of God.” Faith and peace say: “All is well, all will be OK. We will prevail. This plane will not crash. We will not die. We are protected. Disease will not take our life. We will not go broke. Our God is on the scene. God will help us. God is in charge. Jesus is Lord of all. "If you can believe, all things are possible to those who believe.”

Lastly, you must be bold. God is bold. God wants you bold. A good witness is bold. Fearlessly stand for Jesus in your family, among your friends, and in your community. It is not PC anymore to speak of Jesus. (Politically Correct) Do you know the risk I take online, to promote and teach about Jesus? Some subscribe to White Fields Ezine and then they hit remove so fast, you would not believe it. And some do so in a mean manner. Demons do not like White Fields Ezine. But I say, we have one shot to be a witness, and then it is Heaven for millions, and Hell for millions. I am going to take some with me to Heaven. So forget the reputation. Like Paul, we need to say: “I count all I have, all I am, and all of me, including my reputation as refuse (garbage) for the cause of Christ.” For every person that rejects you, 5 more will accept you in the name of Christ. "Fear not." "If God be for us, who can be against us?"

How can we be righteous, victorious, loving, knowledgeable, full of faith and peace, and be bold? Good question. You cannot do all those things. However, God can. After His Spirit comes upon you, you can do those and much more! The battle is God’s, not yours. You are the vehicle, the vessel and the instrument through which God flows. The more humility you possess, the more He can flow in and through you. One teacher said, “The way up is the way down.” Humble yourself so God can exalt you. "I must decrease that He may increase in me."

God needs witnesses. Get in God’s employ. He will teach you, empower you and prosper you in all the attributes and principles above. His Spirit will come upon you and empower you to prevail and grow. God’s power is always flowing, His Spirit is always available to overcome, at all times, and you can win today. You can love today. Go to prayer and be a witness of Christ. Go to prayer and be full of God’s power.

When I point you to the Holy Spirit, I am pointing you to Jesus. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Jesus and His Father. They are one with each other. But they are also 3 distinct individuals too. Jesus is the first one with whom we have to do in our Christian experience. He stands at the door of our hearts and knocks. He comes and lives inside of us. God the Father planned that we would receive Jesus, a man, who has a human body, and we can visualize his smile and His warm loving eyes. This is easier to embrace then the Father or the Holy Spirit, who do not have our kind of bodies, as Jesus does. Isn't it a brilliant and genius gospel? You and I have a human big brother who is also God Incarnate, eternal man and eternal God. Jesus then introduces us to the Father, and to the Holy Spirit. They then also take up residence inside of us. The Holy Spirit is the power of God. He is your provision to walk in power. Do not miss Him. Open your heart to Him today. Be silent, open your heart, look towards Heaven, and ask Jesus for a refreshing measure of His holy Spirit. Watch the power flow down into you! It's real, it's there, it's for you!

This is no accident here that you have read this ezine. This was a Divine appointment for your Divine destiny. God set this up and has led you to this point, so go ahead and seal the plan of God, for you, that is, and receive His Son, Jesus. You must be born again to see the Kingdom of God. (John 3:3)

Maybe you have only been away from God, but knew Him at an earlier time. God says, "Come back child" and has arms extended open for you. Get right in your life with God today! You owe it to yourself.

Lord, I am a sinner, and I need you. Jesus, I receive you now. You are God, and I recognize your death and resurrection. Come into my heart, save me, and give me eternal life. Forgive me of sin, and wash me clean of all unrighteousness. I am now your child, and I thank you for saving me. Thank you Lord.

If you said that prayer from your heart, you are now saved and a child of God. The possibilities are endless here for your new life, but best of all, Heaven is settled for you!!

A Ground Rule (Statement of Unity)

White Fields Ministries is a sound Bible based organization, and I, Greg Nichols, am the Director. I am also the owner of The MFN Group and MFN Publishing, which has a collection of published works that are a little more secular, but full of redeeming value. I am ordained with the International Gospel Assemblies out of Missouri. It is a missionary and ministerial organization founded in 1962. My wife Debbie is a graduate of Trinity Bible College in Northern California, and that is an Assemblies of God College. I have had no bible college, but I do feel God has placed a gift of teaching and preaching upon my life, and on my wife also. The ground rule is that you and I may not always agree on doctrines, but I believe God would have us rise above doctrines in the spirit of His love, and unite to accomplish his purposes. That is how strong I feel about this project for online people. The cyber mission field here is huge, possibly the largest in the world, and the fastest growing. The ground rule is that if you disagree with something, I will welcome you to email me and state your opinion. I will probably respond. But let’s decide to think about this next fact in advance. We will not agree on everything, but we do agree that Jesus is to be the center of our focus, the Word of God is absolute, and the gospel to lost souls is the priority.
