Power From Above and America's Financial Crisis

It has been awhile since I wrote this group, and it is time. The Lord put this message on my heart, and I feel it is very timely now, and a special instruction for believers in Christ. This is a current and living word on a serious issue today.

Our nation is in a serious trial and not all of the Christian church is aware of the seriousness of the matter. This revival group at Revival Fire needs to pray, because a financial crisis against America is a crisis against the Gospel of Jesus Christ and Revival.

Being a real estate agent and loan broker by profession for 32 years, the housing, lending and stock market crisis hit me and my family very hard way back in early 2007. It also began spreading into many industries like construction, automobile, retail, and just about every facet of American commerce. It also hit ministries.

This week is more critical than others. Congress is debating about the bailouts. Our President is in a twilight position of his presidency with little influence, and little to say about the crisis. My goal here is not to introduce debate or political issues that weigh down people with negativity. My goal is to urge everyone to prayer as never before over the economy. Regarding the bailouts of the giant corporations, Satan is working through certain parties to bring lies and fear into our government and its people so as to cause them to take serious and hasty steps towards socialistic actions. In my ever so limited and humble opinion, any action not for free enterprise and less government will hasten quicker destruction. However, in this writing, I am not writing for or against anything here, I’m not speaking up for Republicans or Democrats, or for bailing out or not bailing out corporations, or anything like that. I am speaking up for prayer, for our authority in Christ, for faith in God and for shaping policy through our spiritual influence. We need to do this now. We do not wrestle against flesh and blood, so it is unprofitable to get angry at people. Let’s get angry at Satan. We need to strip Satan of his influence in this situation.

Jesus stood before Pilate. It was a lesser man lording over a greater man. Not only was Jesus a greater man, he is God, and Creator. As He stood before Pilate, the very scene must have been amusing to Him in a Holy kind of way. He spoke out an amazing statement you could preach volumes about. “Jesus answered, you could have no power at all against me unless it has been given you from above… John 19:11a

He even told a follower He could call down thousands upon thousands of angels to stop the Crucifixion. He knew the Father had this situation in His hands, and if the Father willed it, it could stop. To share even a deeper understanding here, Jesus no doubt entered the throne room of Heaven in His prayer times, maybe the preceding week leading up to this time, or even maybe in Gethsemane, and He prayed and released this situation into the Earth realm through faith and prayer. In other words, He was above Pilate and the Jews in spirit and prayer but was subject to them in the flesh. What Jesus permitted on Earth through prayer was permitted in Heaven and then released on Earth. The power came from above. This is why He opened not His mouth, but was silent like a lamb for the slaughter. If he said too much, the anointing would stop the proceedings, and thwart God’s will. In the Garden, He said “I am He”, and they fell down. It would be hard to crucify an innocent person if He kept knocking you down. You would lose your resolve fast. Jesus was the power above and also at the same time became subjected to and beneath them in his earthly being. It came from the spiritual realm. How do I know this could have happened? Because Jesus taught us this, he taught us to do this, and He was our template and example. What we now do in the spirit He would have done. He was and is the first born of many brethren. This is the essence of sonship in the Father’s Kingdom and the way of sonship to get things done on Earth.

“…. by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is His flesh.” Hebrews 10:20   Jesus went through the veil and then made the way for us to go through the veil too. Whatever He did he intended us to do. This is part of finding out who we are in Christ, to the maximum and limitless capacity of that sonship calling.

Back to America: Decisions are being made this week. No one really knows the exact right answers, our leaders need Godly wisdom. But this truth I know: The American government has no power except it be given them from above. Free enterprise seems at risk, its neck seems like it is on a chopping block, and many of our leaders are wielding axes. We need our country healed of the financial crisis, and we believers need to exercise our authority given to us by God. Position-ally, when we pray and intercede, we are at the throne of God, seated in the Heavenly places in Christ Jesus, sitting above world governments, binding on earth the things we deem that need to be bound, and releasing from Heaven the angelic power we need released, and we are stripping the situation of the demonic power that is trying to shipwreck this great nation. In other words, we fix the problem “above” in Heaven, through prayer and anointing using our spirit man, and enjoy the answers on Earth, in our earthly beings. We in the church are above the government in a spiritual sense, and beneath it or under it and subjected to it in another fleshly sense. This is not an easy revelation to convey, and I pray I did it justice, but ask for forgiveness from my brothers and sisters for any imperfect part.

Each one of us has this power given by our New Birth and made aware of it by our infilling of the Holy Spirit who gives us the understanding of it. (The Comforter leads and guides us into all truth.)

Pray for:

1)      God’s Wisdom for the Congress and President.

2)      That Satan is not working this to his advantage against our nation.

3)      That lies are removed from the situation.

4)      That the Gospel and Revival will not be hindered.

5)      That God gives us more time to harvest before the final judgment.

6)      That America has Godly people doing the work of the government.

7)      Pray God moves on strategic people to help our government. The USA has sowed largely for this with past mercies to many.

Warren Buffet invested 5 Billion into one of the corporate giants yesterday, and this kind of action is only a small example of what I believe the country needs, for people to push ahead in business, in prayer and in ministry, occupying until He comes. I see a positive outcome and I thank God for delivering the good old USA! You see it too and thank Him for it now!

My wife Debbie and I have begun a prayer vigil daily, against this situation, and I know many of you are praying, but I ask the rest to really bring this to the throne of God and keep it there until a breakthrough is received.
